Travel by Car
Interstates 64 and 264 connect southeastern Virginia to all points North, South, and West. Here are brief suggested routes:
FROM NORTH:
Interstate 95 South toward Richmond to I-295 South (toward Norfolk/Virginia Beach). Take I-295 to I-64 East, follow to OpSail 2012 Virginia Affiliate Cities.
FROM SOUTH:
Interstate 95 North to Route 58 East (toward Chespeake/Norfolk). Follow Route 58 East to major OpSail 2012 Virginia Affiliate Cities.
FROM WEST:
Interstate 64 E towards (Norfolk) or Interstate 95 South toward Richmond to I-295 South (toward Norfolk/Virginia Beach). Take I-295 to I-64 East, follow to OpSail 2012 Virginia Affiliate Cities.

The Tide- Hampton Roads Transit

The Tide light rail extends 7.4 miles from the Eastern Virginia Medical Center complex east through downtown Norfolk and adjacent to I-264 to Newtown Road. Eleven stations provide access to cultural, financial and entertainment centers. There are four park and ride lots and parking is always free.
