Proposed Rules Relating to Maritime Regulations and OpSail 2012 Virginia
The USCG has posted a Notice of proposed rulemaking relating to the OpSail 2012 Virginia events. These proposed changes to the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) would affect commercial and recreational boaters in Hampton Roads and the lower Chesapeake Bay. Local Notice To Mariners
Published by the USCG, the Local Notice to Mariners notifies boaters of changes to navigational aids, ongoing construction projects affecting boaters, dangers to safe navigation, and special security requirements for specific regions of the U.S. navigational waterways.
